Follow the heat down

On a summer afternoon, the hottest room in your house is the one you never stand in. Whatever that heat reaches, your AC has to remove.

Don’t just take our word for it

See government-sourced studies from the U.S. Department of Energy, ENERGY STAR, the EPA and national research labs showing how radiant barrier, spray foam, fiberglass, boric acid insulation and air sealing improve efficiency.

Signs your attic is costing you

If two or more of these sound familiar, your attic is likely working against your AC.

ENERGY STAR recommends R-30 to R-60 depending on your climate zone. Many older homes sit below R-19. We measure yours at the estimate.

  • Cooling bills keep climbing every summer
  • Some rooms are hotter than others, especially upstairs
  • The AC runs for long stretches and never quite catches up
  • Weak airflow from certain vents
  • Insulation looks thin, flattened, or you can see the tops of the joists
  • Dust or attic odors coming into the living space

FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see yours? Call us at (520) 850-4340.

How do I know if my home needs new insulation?

High cooling bills, uneven room temperatures, hot upstairs spaces, an AC that runs constantly, or insulation that looks thin, compressed, or damaged. A free attic evaluation tells you whether it’s the insulation alone or a bigger attic-performance issue.

Will insulation really keep my house cooler in summer?

Yes. Insulation slows heat moving from the attic into your rooms. It works best combined with ventilation, a radiant barrier, and air sealing so the attic works as one system.

Is a radiant barrier worth it?

In hot, sunny climates, a radiant barrier reflects heat at the roofline before it builds up in the attic. That lowers attic temperatures and reduces the heat your AC has to fight.

How long does a project take?

Most homes are done in one day. Larger attics or jobs that include removal can take longer. We’ll give you a timeline at the estimate.

Will it make a mess inside my house?

No. We protect the work path, keep the area organized, and clean up before we consider the job finished.

Are estimates really free?

Yes. We inspect your attic, explain what we find, and give you a written price with no obligation.
